Human Resources Specialist with an Internationally Famous Kitchen Goods company
 
Client Description
My client have a great reputation in Japan. Their products are immediately recognizable and have wonderful branding. They are trusted as a company that treat their employees well and have been very successful in Japan.
 
Overview
You will be a key member of the HR team in Japan. You will work with a very professional team and take care of payroll processing, management of benefits, reporting and some employee relations & ad hoc HR Admin tasks
 
Job Description
* Preparation and processing of monthly payroll, bonus and retirement allowance; review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets; track and manage all payroll deductions
* Coordinating health, life and disability insurance as well as fringe benefit services
* Preparation and distribution of detailed reports, e.g. overtime, annual leave balances, head count, and retirement contribution reports
* Other duties covering Employee Relations, Outsourced Staff Management, Employees Health, HRIS, HR Administration, etc
 
Requirements
* Experience in a dynamic organization as a HR Generalist
* Business level English with Fluency in Japanese
* Strong communication skills & ability to interact with peers and senior members within the organization
* MS Office experience
 
Desired
* Experience in a consumer goods company would be ideal
* Experience with an HRIS system like SAP would be beneficial
* Positive attitude to your work
* A passion to work with great people and be a positive influence on the people you work with
 
Salary
Flexible depending on experience, however JPY5.0 – 7.0M
