This division serves Japanese companies, primarily in the IT, internet, HR and Finance & Accounting sectors, and focuses on building deep relationships with a limited number of companies with a high volume of projects. We meet with multiple people at each company to gain a deeper knowledge of their visions, concepts, strengths, and problems. In addition to using the en Japan network, we cultivate new client relationships through our own network of venture capital firms, auditing firms, and others. We meet with talented individuals and suggest placements even to those who do not have clear positions in mind before using our services, and in fact roughly half of our successful placements did not start out with a clear target job. We believe that we offer people the opportunity to connect with their ideal position rather than simply moving them from one job to another.
Megumi spent a year studying in the US during high school. In 2008, after graduating from university, she took charge of new client sales in the life sciences area at a Japanese-owned recruitment firm. Following the 2008 financial crisis, Megumi decided to brave a different field, eventually gaining five years’ experience in school management and direct-response marketing at an English conversation school with students ranging from infants to university students. During this time, Megumi also learned how to run a shop-based business. Megumi’s current position has brought her career back to recruiting. Her consulting experience is concentrated in the areas of accounting and finance. Megumi’s extremely careful attention to her own career has brought her to where she is now, and she is also confident in her intimate knowledge of wider economic conditions in a variety of fields.
