Ayumu MizunoSenior Manager
This division serves Japanese companies, primarily in the IT, internet, HR and Finance & Accounting sectors, and focuses on building deep relationships with a limited number of companies with a high volume of projects. We meet with multiple people at each company to gain a deeper knowledge of their visions, concepts, strengths, and problems. In addition to using the en Japan network, we cultivate new client relationships through our own network of venture capital firms, auditing firms, and others. We meet with talented individuals and suggest placements even to those who do not have clear positions in mind before using our services, and in fact roughly half of our successful placements did not start out with a clear target job. We believe that we offer people the opportunity to connect with their ideal position rather than simply moving them from one job to another.
Originally from Uwajima, Ehime Prefecture, Ayumu joined en-japan after graduating from university. He served as a leader in Osaka, Branch Office Head in Kobe and General Manager, among other roles, in Tokyo. He was also assigned to the Beijing office in China as the Vice President. Ayumu managed 160 Chinese staff at the joint venture in Beijing and achieved profitability in two years. He was awarded the President’s Award, the President’s Special Award and the Best Manager Award. Since August 2012, he has been involved in the start-up of recruitment consulting services for Japanese companies at en world Japan. Ayumu focuses his attention on projects that the top management of hiring companies will delegate fully to him, allowing him to draw on his experience in sales and business start-ups, as well as the generation of roles that do not exist through discussions based on the business proposals that he makes from a third-party consulting perspective.
